à deux for alto flute and electronics was composed using the material from Lamp dance / Chorós phōtōn as its primary point of departure. The musical material is highly varied, and a live-electronic part has been added that reacts to the flute in real time and resynthesizes its sound.

Lamp dance / Chorós phōtōn for solo alto flute functions as a quasi-concert version of a scene from the chamber pantomime-ballet based on the poetry collection The Tale of Fatumeh by the Swedish poet Gunnar Ekelöf (1907–1968).
